Poetry, music, and healing with Lani and Fergal

Episode 11 of The Musicians' Hour, featuring poet Lani O'Hanlon and singer songwriter Fergal O'Connor is out now.

Lani O'Hanlon is a poet, dancer and movement therapist, and Fergal O’Connor is a musician and singer songwriter. Both are based in West Waterford. They work together as 'Wildsong' to deliver healing workshops and interesting live performances, which use poetry, music, voice, and somatic movement to promote healing.

It was wonderful to have the opportunity to witness the work that Lani and Fergal do, in the CRY104fm studios, when they came in to record The Musicians' Hour. We had a really informative chat about their creative processes, their influences, and the performances and healing workshops they deliver. They also delivered some truly fascinating collaborative performances of their poetry and songs, demonstrating how they work together.
