Episode 14 of The Musicians' Hour, which was released at the end of August, on Community Radio Youghal, was a really enjoyable show to put together.

The show featured Cork based musician Eoin Jordan, whose unique and beautiful songs are enhanced further by his brilliant skills on the guitar, bazouki and banjo.

When he popped into the CRY104fm studios, I had a fascinating chat with Eoin about his musical influences, and how he likes to journey down through the artists that inspire him, the artists that inspired them, and so on, until he cannot go back any further. It was an interesting idea to me.

We also talked about Eoin's songwriting process and how he collaborated with his wife on a particularly important song, due for release this year. We also chatted about his album 'Hand Me Down The Moon', which was released in 2022.

Throughout the episode, through his live performances, Eoin showcased not only his excellent skills on all three of his instruments, and his great vocals, but also the diversity of his songwriting, with a mixture of tradititional music, Americana and more.

It is well worth a listen and you can download the episode here:
